The boyesen intake will flow more guaranteed! I have used them extensively and my bone stock heads and cylinders 2013 FLTRU 103 is making 110trq @ 95hp with 255 cams, boyesen intake and rb racing lsr spyder pipe. Old dyno, new one isn't loading it is now 115trq.
The boyesen is misunderstood and misused by the majority of tuners it requires MUCH less timing and more fuel than the tuners are used to dealing with. A high quality Denso, NGK or Harley irridium plug 1 step colder gapped .043 helps as well!

If you want to spend BIG $$$ on the s&s for less power go for it! The s&s is nice on a 117 or a 124 on a 96,103,110 it WILL not make as much VELOCITY as the boyesen. My bike now that is broken in is making 115 trq @ 95hp and the torque spread is WIDE.
The key to the boyesen is that neat reverse tulip in the air cleaner working in conjunction with the x wing... You have smooth long air transitions that speed up the intake charge through the Throttle Body!

The boyesen properly tuned will accelerate in 3rd gear SMOOTHLY from 1650 rpm, Loaded 2 up it will accelerate smoothly from 1800 rpm!
BTW It also accelerates all the way to 6200 rpm with NO FALL OFF!
Try the boyesen, use it properly with a high scavenging pipe and ENJOY
