Yes they will have billet end caps to match about 6/8 weeks maybe sooner I hope.

Thanks for the update Frank. How much longer are the Dragula II's going to be? Will the slash cut tips (angle matching the saddlebags) still match the saddlebags, or will the stick out a bit from my extended bags?

North Star,, Can you tell us what you did to your 110 to get those hp/tq numbers??

He did what I previously mentioned as in head porting, valve job, etc, along with new jugs, pistons, rings. lifters, valve guides, cam bearings, etc. The stock 255 cam was re-degreed, and OEM pushrods and valves were retained. I replaced the lifters with Gaterman 1021's.

I have no idea about hard specs like CCP or even compression, although I know compression isn't high since I went with the OEM pistons.

He's a believer in working with what you got by optimizing flow in and out (since the 110 is just a big air pump after all), and that there is no need for "US style builds" as he puts it, meaning the big companies and the internet pushing a mish-mash of cams, exhaust, etc.

All I know is he is a long time HD wrench and racer, and has flow bench tested stuff to come up with his 110 package. He has done 50+ builds on 110 bikes, with the same results.

I only posted the chart because I thought Frank may have given me some input as to how the Dragos might help or change the curves, as I don't know how/if the curves will change for the better or for worse, since my build is suited to the parts I have on the bike now. I should probably just stick to the exhaust I have now, but you guys know how it is when we get the itch to change things up because we are all mod-aholics  :)

When I initially posted the chart after my build, I had mostly nay-sayers not believing it, and I really couldn't care less what an internet forum thinks of my numbers or my bike. I'm not the type to brag or try and impress people, especially on a forum, and it's a waste of my time to defend peoples criticisms.

However, I realize you are probably just asking because your curious and interested, so I have no issue responding to your question.

Curious about the re-degree of the 255's. What does this change do? First I have heard anyone talk of doing this.

Not sure- thinks it maybe adds duration or something?

usually re-degreeing a cam is to advance it by about 4 degrees which will usually shift the curve down about 300 rpm for better lower end Crane and several companies offer multi index cam gears to do this.

Considering that the 255 is a beast of a tractor cam (all bottom end grunt) I would suspect the trick is go the other way to get better breathing above 4K.
Degreeing can't change duration or overlap but it will change the timing of the entire valve timing cycle relative to the crank (piston) position. It can make the valve operation happen earlier or later in the cycle compared to the cam's original index.
By combining this with rocker ratio changes (which alters total lift, duration, overlap) you can substantially alter the characteristics of any cam.

Great place here, so many knowledgeable professionals. Yes, I'll bet that is exactly the reason- sounds familiar to me, as I recall him saying some of what you said.

From what I've read on here, Doc in FLA is also a believer in keeping the 255 cams.

It's all about the combination, and like others have said many times, these engines aren't complicated if they are thought of as a big air pump.
