The MoCo will not sell the new CVO pegs in a kit for highway pegs. I had to buy all the pieces separate and use an additional set of passenger pegs to get it done. WTF? Cost like $280 to put matching highway pegs on this damn thing! Owning a CVO is going to be worse than a boat.......  :P

No way.
Boat is worse. A big hole in the water.
The CVO is cheap compared to a boat.

 ;)

BTW, your bike looks great!

Amen to that.  A boat is a hole in the water you throw money in.

OKAY! Maybe....possibly.....I exaggerated a touch...but I am getting the boat "feeling" again!  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm uncertain as of yet if I like the way the tour pack looks with the floating back rest or if I prefer those lowers where many bikes have speakers. hhhmmmm? time will tell but yeah I like it as well. Quite happy and these quick releases are very easy to use.

All of the above comments are TRUE! We bought a used 23' Ebbtide Mystique boat this summer, with a Volvo Penta 5.7L GXi stern drive. A month after I bought it, started running rough and wouldn't go over 30. After some research, I discovered that the fuel pump assembly was going out, and needed to be replaced. But, like the MoCo on certain items, Volvo Penta does not sell anything but the COMPLETE fuel pump assembly! I needed it right away for the weekend with passengers, and I could only find one unit in Atlanta, fortunately on a boat dealer near my house. Over $800 later, the boat was running right again. But that's only the beginning... I don't even wanna talk about having to completely replace the rusted old drum brakes on the trailer with new disc brakes for $550...

JP: About the pegs... It was like that with the Rumble Collection stuff they used on my bike, too. Had to buy them in pieces. Being the über-savvy modder I am, I avoided spending the $240 on the front pegs by spending $600 :vrolijk27: on passenger floorboards and matching Rumble Collection inserts, and moving my passenger pegs up to the engine guard using $100 long-angled mounts. I guess I showed the MoCo a thing or two! LOL

And you thought CVOs came "complete". That's OK... we all did before we bought one...

Your SESG is BEAUTIFUL! That Tour Pak rocks!

I wouldn't do the speaker pods. It looks nice and clean now... like an SESG should. That's why I didn't do them on Honey Badger... because it's a NOT-A-LIMITED!

Wife says she hears the bag speakers perfect.  No need for pods!

Great looking bike with the matching tour pak !!!! You need to get the screaming eagle emblem for the back of the tour pak and that's about $160.00 !!! Good Luck with the New RIDE.

What is it about the SG that people want to buy one then dress it up like a Limited? I saw one guy on here buy a CVO Limited and strip it down to a SG.?? It really is no issue for me just curious.

All about options.... possible features/colors on one model that a person likes over the other but still wants the versatility to have both bike's. Some like the looks of the stretched bags, rear fender fascia of the SESG but know they will travel w/the bike and want a TP. Some might like the color scheme of the SEL but want the stretched bags and rear fender fascia of the SESG and want to take the TP off to have the "draggin' bagger" look when the TP is not needed.
