2014 Fall Pics in central Iowa

The weather has been surprisingly spectacular this October. Temps remain in the mid to high 60's with an abundance of sunshine. Forecast is calling for 70's on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday  :pepper:

Took a ride today to Doliver Memorial State Park about 13 miles south of me. It follows the Des Moines river. It's quite a pleasant park. Yes even in Iowa you get some eye candy. Here are some pics.

I rolled over 24000 miles today on 'ol ruby. According to what I have read from the dealers my girl has now pretty much met her intended life expectancy LOL!  :coolblue:

Here is something you really have to be careful of this time of year. Lots of farmers out in the fields and taking slow moving vehicles on the road. Notice the large clumps of soil, etc. on the roadway!

If you've never been to/through Iowa, you are missing something.  These pics just show a small portion of what Iowa has to offer.  It's in my top 5 states where I've ridden.  Thanks for the pics and reminder of how beautiful Iowa is, Jesse.  Ain't God good......His paint palette is unlimited.
