A couple of years ago, I fell for the J&M pitch at Strugis, and made the mistake of going for the full package of the Rokkers in the Fairing, and the Rokkers in their lowers too, and the Rokkers rears as well, with the 125.2 amp driving the fronts. Like Waynel said, when you turn it up, it distorts pretty quickly. John was also kind of a prick when one of the speakers fell apart on the way home, where the tweeter was bouncing around in the woofer and damaged it. They suggested I should have stopped on the side of I-90 to take the fairing apart to stop the tweeter from ruining the woofer. What? How about using the right amount of glue in the first place?
Eventually they swapped it after much bitching, and having to make a deposit and waiting for a refund, but I got a bad taste from that. Also, he wasn't forthcoming about adjusting the amp, and so on. Their install guys are hacks too. What a frigging rats nest, and they stripped out one of the speaker fairing mounts too boot. Everything was crimpt connectors and a pound of electrical tape, jammed wherever. Not pretty.
Now two years later, I'm looking to unload this stuff. I'm probably shooting myself in the foot with this post, but I'll put it this way. You will get a modest improvement over the stock set up, but you are paying top dollar for mediocre speakers for sure. The Arc amp is nice, but you really have to go with low level outs on the head unit to get the most out of the amp.
Imho, for the money you can do much better. I wish I wouldn't have made the J&M mistake and got sucked in. This time, I'm going with Arc/Focals or BT. After hearing a Arc/Focal set up, I was blown away and it absolutely slaughtered this J&M stuff.
