How about addressing the real reasons these motor run so damned hot. A decent cam, like GMR's 577, V&H Power Dual Header system, some Crusher Mellows and then get the thing tuned for proper AFR!! There is really no reason a 110 should run any hotter than an 88, the new bikes are run so lean with cats that they can't help but run hot.  A good oil cooler with fans will help when your stalled in traffic.
My S&S T124 runs at 190 degrees on 100 degree days on the highway, I've seen it reach 230 once stalled in traffic for an hour. fwiw  twinotter

My old 88 ran cool from the beginning. When I got the 110 it was a giant ball of fire. I put pipes and a tune in it but it still was very hot. Once I had the 577's installed.....Wammo.....MUCH cooler.

Did you have to have it re-tuned after the cam change?

Most of the "felt" heat is from the exhaust, they are over a they are over 700 degrees hotter than the engine, regardless of what tune/cam etc you have.
I bought the Ward fans, the low temp thermo and had fulsac tune that was dead on. Engine was still to hot to enjoy riding in the 100 deg + days. I still ride, but it is not comfortable. Cams will help but combustion temps are still hot, just a way of life and therefore exhaust are going to always be hot and they are next to your ankle.
Some folks just have different tolerances for heat ( or cold ).

I also agree, you will not be disappointed.  I installed the Power Vision display just to see how the bike is doing and I can see how quickly the Wards drop engine temp when on versus off...  I got one of the first set of fans , so I do not have it with the Thermal Snap Switch setup.  Only a manual switch that I flip to on on hot days.  Very effective mod and they look cool as heck versus the other alternatives.  And they are made here in the USA by a fellow Harley rider.

An S&S .570 cam will tame the heat once tuned, for instance.

I am about to install a Jim Forced Flow Cylinder Cooler on my '14 CVO RK.  It claims it lowers oil temps up to 100 F.
