Double copper.  My name is Todd by the way. I use Steve's products and I also had a problem installing his map.  Made a call to him.  Left a message he called me back.  I made a mistake when I downloaded the map and flashed it.   I re did it per his directions and it ran night and day different.  I will recommend his product over others because it's made in America by Americans.
And it works and people that ride with me or hear it can see the quality of his work.  I am sorry you had a bad experience with him. But from the way you sound from your writings, I think your a very hard person to satisfy and may give people a fair chance to make things right.

Your one of those customers that every small business owner wishes they didn't have to deal with.

Just remember life is to short.  We all have to live on this little planet together be patient with each other with so many people so happy with his product.  If you thought he was being rude with you.  From what little I have talked with Steve.  I really think for one second he was starting to talk rude to me I would just ask him.   Now if I was insulting him or his product or work I should expect him to be rude speaking back to me.    So if you spoke to him like that.  Well then you deserved it.
Momma told me to treat  others how I want to be treated.    You should call Steve on the phone and work things out.   He really is a great guy to do business with.   I can't wait to meet him in person and see their shop.

Yes , its a possibility.
What is the probability ?

I like the way you think. Like Steve said 'IF all the things are the same on the bike' it might even be probable.

Now back to the fight. :D  I recall when I had my first stage on pipe and tune done and thinking that the improvement was not exactly what I was expecting. It was not Steve's pipe nor the TTS but as time went on and I added more mods I learned that it took pistons and cams to reach my expectations .

As a small business owner I will say some money ain't worth it.

At your next opportunity, wipe your ass with my free shirt.
I would, but you didn't send that, either.  You're 0 for 6: lousy map, no response to 2 emails, pizz-poor phone call, no shirt, no customer service.  How are you still in business?

BTW:  Are you gonna keep your shirt on while I do it?  You roll like that?

Interesting.

We are seeing a pattern here in the way you deal with people that disagree with you.
 :2vrolijk_21:

SBB

There's disagreement, then there's snark.  I responded in kind to comments made, but to you, that's "bashing."  Look in the mirror before you talk about a "pattern" in disagreements.

You cemented your reputation long ago. You can dish it out, but you can't take it.

84 HP is laughable , that's less than stock. Lol..94 HP is still weak.
Steve@fullsac.com
You say 94 HP from the other tuner is laughable?  What does that say about the 84 HP your map generated?  Screwed yourself again.

I'm not sure this really answers your question. However, if you want to see / know the best tuner I know of in Western Canada you will have to go to Nanaimo,Vancouver Island and have Russel at Lonewolf Performance do a complete tune on your bike. He was trained by "Doc" Webster? (Florida) and is recommended by him. Kane's (your closest local dealer) in Kelowna knows of him.

Thanks for the good info.  I had a bike tuned by Doc; was the smoothest and strongest runner I've ever had.

I ran my own business for the last 15 years of my work life (until I retired).  I've dealt with every kind of customer.

I sent him 2 emails that were ignored.  That's when I called.  See the following reply for a description of that.  Any customer is hard to satisfy like that.

All I wanted was to get what I paid for.  I paid close to $1000 and had no improvement over stock.  When I asked for assistance, I got none.  That's my complaint.

Wow!  Wasn't trying to lite your fuse.

Nothing lit here except the hard truth.  Check yourself for a lit fuze:  You admitted you got upset that I had a dyno pull, and that things would have gone downhill from there.  So no point in trying to deflect it back on me.

You call me for help and I most likely told you to check the download and then what? Did we have words, piss each other off? Even when people piss me off I smile and keep working with them as its in my best interest to have there bike running right.

You didn't respond to 2 emails where I asked for help.  So I called.  It was 11 am your time on a work day, but you sounded like I woke you from a hangover.  I told you I had bought your DX, 2.0 baffles, and TTS but bike wasn't running any different from stock.  Your reply was "That's how it is."  When I asked what you meant, you said "Of course it runs better."  Only after that blow-off did I tell you about the dyno pull, and only because you weren't acknowledging a possible problem.  And that's when you started saying "you can't compare two different dynos and that doesn't prove anything."  That was the end of the conversation.

So no, you didn't go through any troubleshooting about checking the download, or making changes, or providing a new map, or anything else.  I repeat:  I didn't say anything about the dyno pull until you had already gaffed me off four times.  I brought up the dyno to try to break through your denials.  Didn't work.

the free tune was bad

So your map has no value?

Let's get this straight:  It's part of your business model to offer the map with the TTS so we don't have to get a dyno tune from an unknown source.  It's part of the contract; we buy the TTS from you with the understanding we get a decent map that can be dialed in with V-tuning.  But you talk out both sides of your mouth.  First your tunes are so great; then you claim they're free (so we shouldn't be upset if they don't work).  We all know what "free" is worth...but yours was worth less than that.

You didn't GAS about my name when it mattered.  Don't worry about it now.

Twas the night before X mas and all through the garage, not one scooter would run right, not even the Hog.

Hammers and chisels were scattered about, a man stood starring and was all in a pout.

He cussed and he cursed at his CVO cycle, slapped it and beat it and threatened it with a rifle.

As he twisted the throttle it farted and popped, spit up some rice and a big cloud of dust.

He raised his fist high and screamed at the moon, I'll get you Fullsac, it must be your tune!

He strapped on his boots and a big leather vest, kicked the door open and rode to the west.

As the Hog Doctor waited for his patient to arrive, he prepared some tissues to help with his cries.

On to the dyno they strapped the big Pig, it grunted and groaned and farted again.

The Doctor was quick to point out the ailment, its got no fuel Boy, you need to adjust it!

Back to the east he rode the gold beast, with the sun in his face he was pissed and disgraced.

He tried to go fast as he gave it the gas, but Beemer's and Honda's passed him and laughed.

So into the garage he parked the tired Hog, and on to the forum to vent like a moron.

Try as he might to damage Fullsac, at the end of the day they all had his back.

So DC  lets bring peace to this place, your hemorrhoids will thank you and look less like your face. :bananarock:

Merry X mas my friend!
