Chief,
You might want to try a Clearview windshield with the recurve vs. a taller windshield. Do you have a download for your PC or are you heading to the dyno... You are going to install a high flow air cleaner first, right?
Of course, I am a bit biased, but your new ride looks great. Enjoy!

Scott,
Thanks for the tip. I'll check out the Clearview. The 9" just doesn't give enough of a bubble for me. I feel like the passenger, not the rider.
I got the PC loaded with a map for the 96", but will be ordering the Daytona Sensors Twin Scan II + to do my own tuning. It will allow me to map out AFR's and then adjust the fuel map to get everything spot on without going to a dyno. Since I'll be doing my engine changes a bit at a time, I can stay in perfect tune after each change without putting it on a dyno.
For the air cleaner, I already have the SE A/C on my 99, and it has the good K&N filter in it. I'm planning on getting the standard SE A/C and doing a filter swap with the 99. I'll use the old K&N on the new bike and sell the new paper element on the 99. Kind of like how the 99 now has brand new HD air shocks and the new bike has used Progressive 440 IAS shocks.
How's your project going?
Cheers!
