Great pictures Jock! This place is on my bucket list, maybe when I retire in 5 years I can take 3 weeks to really enjoy this beautiful area!

I know you have more to share but seeing Jasper, the icefields and anticipating Lake Louise, Banff and Canmore brings back memories of our 1995 trip.  Made me go back and look at all the pictures again....thanks for taking us along....hasn't changed much in 23 years.... ;D

Thanks for the amazing pics and storyline Jock of our beautiful country.  It's been a couple of years since I was last in those parts, and I can't wait to get back next year.

Not sure which way you're heading next, but my all-time favourite ride is along the Trans Canada Hwy #1, from Spences Bridge south to Hope, BC through the Fraser River Valley - No greater scenery anywhere have I seen and experienced.  :2vrolijk_21: 

Don't miss Hell's Canyon on the way.

Enjoy the ride!

A fun little day traveling down Highway 93 and Highway 95 in Yoho National Park and Kootenay National Parks.
