I did not  like the "CRACK" THE Rineharts have...... so I went with  Rush slipons 2" baffles with Vance and Hines true dual headers

very deep throaty sound  No crack!

FAT CATS 2-1 's are looking better to me than RH TD due to the low end torque that they offer over RH. There seems to be several guys here running them and they seem to be very satisfied with them. Some say the heat issue is much better as well. My first bagger I bought I just about went with FAT CATS on it but couldn't bear the thought of only 1 exhaust. There look seems to grow on you, or you absolutely hate them.  :nixweiss: anyone that can share a picture of thier FAT CAT pipes would be appreciated.

True duals without crossover pipe.  Just got them this week, but I was out of town all week so I did not get them put on.  I had to ride all weekend with the stock pipes........YUK!!!!!  I got caught in a huge rainstorm, so now I have to put pipes on and clean all week.

I Bought FAT CAT 2-1's
« Reply #10 on: June 21, 2008, 06:21:16 PM »

Got the Fat Cats installed this afternoon, wicked bad sounding pipes!!!  I went with the big bore mufflers, may have to try the big bore quiet if these are as loud as I think they will be on the road. :orange: :orange: :orange: Thanks to all of you here who helped me with info on these. I had R/H TD on my last bike, but in this one I wanted to keep the bottom end torque. I have a super tuner to install but still need the A/C setup. I stopped at the dealer and they don't have a chrome A/C setup yet for the '08. Anyone have a suggestion for chrome? I will get some pictures up maybe tommorrow, it was raining here earlier, so will ride in the AM.

I just installed Ness Chrome Big Sucker on my '08 RG.  Fit was perfect, and it is a very good quality piece.
