Nothing like rain (again) bringing you into the home stretch....20 miles from the house, too.... :(

So glad to see yous both made it back home safe and sound. It was a battle against the the strong arm of mother nature you two went up against, but you both came out on top unscaled. What an ordeal wow!!!

great write up and enjoyed the pics. there is nothing better than a cross country trip! i have been lurking this thread and have enjoyed it and it prompted me to start planning for our trip next year! glad ya'll made it home, send some of that rain our way we need it!

AND THEN WAX IT  :P



It took 6 hrs to get it cleaned up after this trip  :'(. Can't wait for the next one.  :2vrolijk_21:

that's the worst part!!!  looks good though....................  nothin purdier than a shined up harley   :love: :smitten:

Doesn't bother me like it use to...just another memory every time I rub on her and remember where I was when I got it! :nixweiss:

I always think of the cleaning as " debriefing " - and I think it's great therapy and as JR says it recalls all the great moments of a fabulous ride .
