Please don't tell me they "Rattle"   :soapbox:

I just re-ordered them, after I read they were modified to fit my SERK!

Mine don't rattle.  They would have rattled had I installed them per the instructions.  I added teflon washers so the mounting bolts actually "pinch" the brackets, creating enough drag to prevent the rattle...   :2vrolijk_21:

Slip some washers between the extenders and factory brackets so there will be no rattle.

I got my replacement front brackets and Kury did widen the side that bolts to the factory bracket but they didn't make the side that bolts to the floorboard any wider so I slipped 3 or 4 stainless washers in there to take up the slack.

Kuryakn is usually pretty good about there parts fitting correctly but I would give this floorboard extender experience a D

The extenders are on now and I'll try them out tomm on a ride around the winery's on Long Island.  :)

That's where I slipped in the teflon washers - to eliminate any rattle.

I also had to slip a washer between the Kury extender and the factory bracket.

I can't believe I missed these spacer threads and have rode over 27K miles without them.  I ordered 1 1/4" spacers from Pingel  (actually thru Mark at M&M) and they work great.  Feet are in a much more natural position.  They would have been easy to make as Duane suggested/did.   They are as great addition as the pullback handlebars.    :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Besides learning things here Duane, I need to be more observant of other people's bikes at get togethers.  Should have really been able to see these spacers from some of the Dragon pictures.    :cherry:

No need to worry now that you've ground the floor boards down the equivalent of the spacers. ;)
