Well we all have times when we want our tour paks left in the garage or hotel room. Many of you have made your tour paks detachable, so... What's the best way to do it? I'd like to tackle most of the project myself, is there an easy way to make this project somewhat painless? I'm interested in what went well and which things that you wouldn't do again.

Thanks FireDood I'll take a look at those threads. I'm looking to remove the pak off of my 2010 SEUC.

In what year did they do away with the overlay harness?  My 2011 did not have it.
If you have a bike without the overlay, the wiring info is a bit different.
