Motor is here and for the most part installed. looking at the torque spec for the compensator nut, is it really 150lbs or is that a misprint?  Thats damn tight!!!!! otherwise still need to install injectors and hook up plugs and oil lines and shes ready to head to the tuner...

How's the project progressing, Icy? It's been great working with you and I think you'll be well pleased with the results. These motors are a hoot to ride and they're not even close to pushing the envelope in terms of where you can take them on compression for pump gas if you ever wanted more from it. 👍

Its been a while. took it to the tuner on Friday. picked it up around 4:00 by 5 i had the 50 mile oil change done and put another 50 on her. Saturday was another nice day and i managed another 300 miles. Runs really nice. i can tell there is a lot left and its still hard to be conservative with the throttle, but so far i have been. current average for fuel mileage is 38 MPG witch is 3 mpg better than the 103 got. hope to see some nice weather to put on some more miles this week. Thanks James for hooking me up and helping out with all the questions i had. Cant wait to see what the dyno numbers show at 1k miles...
