I've had my Dodge for a little better than two years.  Have almost 60K on her.  I've had the other two brands, and in my opinion, they are inferior to the Dodge.  The Cummins is a real diesel, built on true diesel architecture..........not a gasoline engine block.  Sure, amenities are sparse compared to the other two, but I bought the truck for hauling......not because it is full of bells, whistles and leather.  I was sold on Dodge not because of the Dodge brand, but because of the Cummins Turbo Diesel.  When I first entered the Army in the early eighties, we had just been fielded with new 5T trucks that had CTDs in them.  In all those of years of military service, I've never seen a finer engine.  The Detroits in the tracked howiters and ammo tracks and personnel carriers were always breaking (based on V8 gasoline architecture) whereas I never saw a Cummins break.  I'm sure some did, without a doubt, but mine never did.  I'll stick with my CTD powered Dodge.

Thanks Henry, if all that schoolin' don't work out for you, well, you got a job here any time :2vrolijk_21: :huepfenlol2:.

My son in-law was in the market for a used truck, he narrowed it down to a F350 Power Stroke, and a Dodge 2500 Cummings. The Ford had a few power upgrades and ran really well, had a nice interior, but as many 350's had been used for a lot of haulling and had a rear main seal leak. He ended up with the 2500 Dodge, it's a real nice truck, the interior isn't as plush as the F350, but nice and the Cummings runs well.

Brian,  Jamey took the truck to a guy around the corner that we heard does a real good job of detailing.  The truck was just picked up from there last night. It never has looked that good before.  Not the day it was brand new or any day since.  Think this new detailer will become a regular staff member of ours. He does cars/trucks and bikes too.    :)

You need to get Gary to pose beside it. I sent him a shirt that accessorizes that truck perfectly   ;)

Just for kicks and giggles, we were just looking up resale values on the  :pumpkin: (41,7 retail and 37,8 private party) and as I checked off the options I found one I had not seen before... maybe Howie can help with a definition, of sorts...

"Underbody Hoist"              (Found out that is the hydraulics for a lift bed - duh!  :P )

Or is that something Binx might want to answer???

Hi there, Is that a decal (if so where did you get it) or is that a painted eagle head w/ flames?

                                                 Thanks, Linny

Here is a similar decal that I've found on eBay - HARLEY DAVIDSON SCREAMIN' EAGLE DECAL.
