Not true, they cost more and are not oem HD parts.

Yes I see the Suburban HD 113 pistons are $414, which is more than the HD .010's,  and the problem is they are 10.5-1, and I dont need/want to go over 10-1 since Im running the TTS cam. Their 113 CVO pkg looks nice for $999, but it includes (so assumingly requires) a different cam, and I really dont want to re do the cam that was just installed.

I believe the package I described earlier is the most economical means to get your motor back together, if the financial side matters...

I agree, what you suggest is exactly one of the suggestions Dave said- Stage I /Workhorse heads by Zippers which replace all the parts in the heads including switching out the springs, then we will do the .010 pistons with Dave sending out my jugs for the overbore. I'll leave the TTS cams in, and change up my exhaust combo a bit. I'll also probably switch out the adjustable pushrods that are in there now for fixed, and see if I'm better off with the .030 gaskets or stock gaskets.

Hmmm...  And you're sure you will have proper lifter piston positioning and travel without adjustable pushrods?

No idea....will go with whatever Dave recommends. I had fixed pushrods before the cam was installed, so thought I could go back to fixed since the heads are coming off.

Everything would have to be dimensionally the same as stock for fixed length pushrods to properly position the lifter pistons.  And your TTS cams would have to have the same base circle as stock cams (maybe they do?)  You'd have to be sure of both...

Right. :2vrolijk_21:
Those heads from Zippys may very well be surfaced, as are ours, as we equalize/optimize the cc's for the given cam/cubes.
