You're so right Harry, but that wus just a round about way to talk about idiot lights and such. Do ya need more explanation? Cause I wasn't gonna say anything...... :drink:

But would a oil pressure gauge indicate that problem??

TN

Well I'm not all that bright.  Hell I've proven that by rooming with you several times!  But the idiot light did not notify the idiot in the seat of an issue.

Maybe you can come up with a custom part, like your grips, that Jeff can use for an idiot light?  I'll leave this alone for now.

Come on Pete....I'm having enough problems with Lexi.

My current project consist of both front and rear view cameras that record to thumb drive. Of course you can access the rear view at will.  Right now they're held on with Velcro I ran out of tape.

I will have some live action shots, remember this when riding with me.   :jalapeno:

Carry On

TN upon completion of your project we might have to change you screen name to TurtleMan so you can holler out Live Action.

It will also help document those pullovers by the friendly po po's.

Couple of things Harry, sounds like you watch too much TV, and for you to get any screen time from me it will be the rear view cam in action.   :mango:

I hope to slide down there for a day er two durning upcoming festivities. Maybe we can ride.

TN,

Hope you can make it would be great to see you, and do some riding.   Guess I could have a worse vice than watching animal planet and discovery channel on TV.  I do wholeheartedly apologize if I hurt that one feeling you have, really i do.   First rounds on me when you get here.

I have no misgivings or misconceptions about keeping up with you in the mountains, but while you're here in the flat lands we put your cameras to the test..   ::)

Let us know when you are arriving.

That one hurt some Pete.

Talked with Andrew @ Rev Perf.  He told me the Nikasil conditioning process (chemicals) results in all the powder coating being removed.  Further it will damage any diamond cutting.  Their warranty outlines no coverage for any alterations such as diamond cut fins. He was unsure why the cylinders left their shop without being powder coated HD Granite before shipping. He asked me to text him a picture which I did.  He immediately sent me a shipping label and asked me to ship them back and he would take care of the issues.

I want to repeat I do not believe the Rev Pref Nikasil cylinders failed or had any thing to do with the motors last issues.  Additionally I posted earlier I thought Andrew was a good guy, he has reinforced my belief in him.

I assume the diamond cut has a frosty look to them from the process, but also assume you could have them recut to clean up when powder coat complete?  Just costs more money that you didn't expect to spend.  I'm feeling for you.

The blowing oil comment was directed at Hubbard, see Daytona 2016 thread

Had the same thought Mike.  In talking with the person how did them the 1st time, I was told you need to use a high speed tool which burnish the aluminum to stay bright.  Andrew is looking in to a couple of options in reference the diamond cut.  Let's see, me, a couple of  :drink: and a file...could be a disaster or fun.
