Dropped the CVO at another dealer for service, it had been there a few times for warranty issues. One time they decided to put 30 miles on it, to find a minor backfiring issue, which I later find out is common. It also came back with a tweeked front rotor from excessive breaking, which I didnt do.
Anyways later on, I drop it off again for other warranty issues, it was filthy from a recent trip. I specifically told them not to put excessive miles on it this time. They called 10 days after the bike was there and told me they were still waiting on parts and it will take longer. They were strict on not washing the bikes they service and yet when I picked it up after 30 days it was semi washed. I found out later that one of the saddle bags looked a bit off, a few chips in it and the stickers inside of it looked a bit off. The saddle bag looked like it had been used a lot, my bike is/was relatively new. I think they switched out my bag, not a 100% sure but something is off. When I purchased the bike it has paint issues so I went over every single inch of the bike.
Point of this rant is just a heads up to take some caution when dropping off and picking up your CVO. I had dealerships put minor dents and scratches on my other Harleys, not a big deal, but spending 40 k on a bike that I treat with kid gloves, they need be extra extra cautious with it. It has caused me some grief but you learn as you go.
