The same thing, just a little closer look at the spoilers themselves.

2lane, lookin' good, man!  How about a little more detail on how you went about installing the tour-pak organizer around the spoiler hardware and wiring harness?  Is it as simple as adding a few holes?  I got one of those jobbies, too, but haven't tackled yet, so any advice from your experience is welcome. For mine with the luggage rack and the spoilier I held the lid oginizer on the lid marked where the bolts and screws where and drilled the orginizer and used the bolts and screws as well as the tapes to hold the organizer to the lid it isn't going to come off know.  This way the organizer fits flat against the lid.

2Lane;
Nice work! I really like the spoiler lights, Think i'm going to put them on the wish list. Can you tell me what they cost including painting to match?

Thanks

Twolane......you got yourself a real nice looking scooter there.  Very comfortable lookin too, I might add.  Comfort is a priority for all those of us past the big 5 0 mark. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Also wanted to know why one could not relocate interior light after you install organizer?

I had actually already removed the interior light and not planned on using it again.  When the bike was about a week old I walked in to the garage one evening and noticed a hint of light creeping out around the tour pak and suddenly realized the light wasn't turning off.  A little fiddling with it and I found out that it was shutting off most of the time.  Got a replacement and it did the same thing.  About one time in 20 or so it didn't shut off.

Not wanting to be out someplace and find a dead battery the next morning from the light having stayed on all night I just removed the silly thing.  Honestly just didn't want to have to worry about.  It's minimal real use wasn't worth the concern to me over the dead battery and there's always a little flashlight on the bike anyway.

When I was all fat and happy about having the spoilers all installed last night at least one other person responded writing about their own.  Regarding messing with the saddlebag spoilers I commented that I really wished there was a liner for the saddlebags like there is for the tour pak as it would both hide the wire harness' installation in the saddlebag and protect the harness somewhat from the normal jamming of stuff in and out of the saddlebag.

Well, it appears there is.  Snooping around and found this on J&P's website.  They're so darned expensive I usually try to avoid shopping there.  But couldn't find these anyplace else.  So if anyone is looking for something to tidy up or protect the inside of the saddlebags; here ya go.

2lane or mobe, curious if the fancy cloisonne fitted to the lid of the '05's chopped tour-paks comes with the king paks you got.  I tried to order one for my '04 and found out it was a protected part.  Then, I found out it was $60 [smiley=shocked2.gif] (plus $29,995 for the VIN#, lol!) so I wasn't too dissapointed.

Yup, for a retail price of only $845 you get the fancy emblem on the '05 models. [smiley=brood.gif]
