SCRM-R, if the sludge is only on the magnet, it's probably fine metal shavings, I get a little on my oil plug when I change it. Probably not a problem if it's only a little.

You are probably right.  It was a real small amount, and I rubbed it between my fingers to see if it felt gritty or anything...it didn't.  So if it contains metal, it's so fine you can't feel or see it with the naked eye.  I ain't gonna worry about it.

sctrtrash, how much for one chrome k & P filter?  Or if anyone wants to buy one together, that would work.  I see they retail for $154, I was looking to beat that.

I'm running the pure power filter. serk rinehart td and se high-flow bike dyno'd at 95 ft/lbs torque and 85 hp. 2007 streetgilde.
will be getting serk later in the year.
