AHH Your tight that little black thing looks like crap. What did you do to get rid of yours and wht tyope licnese plate holder are you using. Do you have a License plate frame also. Send pictures of your SEEGS back fender so I can see how yours came out.

Robert, on mine I used just a plane-jane simple chrome license plate frame you can buy at the dealership.  Don't remember the HD part number but I think it was only 12 bucks or something like that.  

Our lower mounted license plate makes fitting a chrome frame under the rear light bar a tight fit.  Not all will work.  This one does ok.  Also, the license bracket itself can be a bit of a fitment problem.  On mine I just removed the bottom half "adjustable" part of the license plate bracket.  Really couldn't use the lower screw holes through the plate anyway and everything cleaned up more neatly with that part of the bracket gone.

As for the SUBTOTBF it's held on with glue.  Mondo glue.  But the little disk will come off.  Get some dental floss or fishing line or something like that and start it between the disk and the fender.  Then just work it through to cut the adhesive.  Once off clean up the residue with alcohol.

To cover the spot on mine I did something a bit weird.  Several guys have used various HD emblems.  There's a little Road King Classic emblem that looks real good there.  But on mine I used a concho I had Iron Braid make up with leather tassle colors to complement the bike.  Here's the pic:

I too have a new red SEEG, with about 1000 miles on it. I just ordered the Freedom package last week, as I wanted to blow some break-in miles on it while I made a decision which way to go.
I've been wishing that I'd find someone around here with the same setup, as it seems that a lot of the guys on this forum are from the south or west.
It would be nice for comparatives. I'm psyched for setting it up next week!
I dealt with Rick @ Freedom, who I agree, is completely customer-oriented. I was concerned with the maps they have for us here, with the big elevation difference (250' vs. 4600', but he assured me that they have a map that should work good for me(us).

Loved you numbers from your fine tune at Freedom on May 14th 2005 and also the data from your dyno.

I just picked up my NEW 2005 Red SEEG the other day from my Dealer and had the Freedom PKG installed. I read your email and also loved your dyno numbers and love all the performance you received including the additional 3 HP when fine tuned. Anyway I was wondering if I can get a copy of the fine tuned map emailed to me so that I can load it into PCIII USB Commander. I live in Albany NY and it would be a very long haul to get Freedom to fine tune my bike (Not to say I wouldn

Hey Lone wolf wouldlove to hook up. I am riding today but do not kow where too until after breakfast with friend. Probably local. I should be home later in the afternoon. IM me your phone number and email address and lets hook up and compare. I can honestly say I have now 118 mile son the bike with the pieps and I love them. Need to get the bike dyno tuned at 1000 miles to see what I get but should be some impressive numbers.

Anyway since we are vert close less then 50 miles, I look forwrad to hooking up and meeting. Also who did you by your bile from, was it Vans, Brunswick or Spitzies?

Well; with all of the talk lately of cracked pipes I was giving the bike the once over and noticed that my rear pipe has a crack along the weld at the starter mount bracket. It extends about 1/2" beyond the weld in both directions. I called Freedom today and a new pipe is being sent out to me right away. I thought it was just the Bub / Rienharts that had this problem but I guess not. They said that they have had very few break there. Great customer service makes it much less of an issue!

  I ordered my Freedom Pipe setup yesterday from Rick [smiley=thumbsup.gif].  Rick told me that he is currently out of pipes!!  [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]
  Rick told me that they will be going in production around the middle of this month.  They will than go out to be chromed.  
 Rick stated that I should be shipped my pipes in the first week of July [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif].  So if you want to get on the waiting list I suggust you call Rick or Mark at Freedom Pipes as soon as possible at 775-358-3500.  
 I told Rick about this thread about Freedom Pipes and gave him the website.  I told him about the Retaining Springs that hold on the Heat Shields reply #97.  I also asked Rick if anyone has complained about the bolt size issue in reply #211. Rick was extremely helpful and stated that no one has mentioned that.  Rick stated that he was going to read what we have been saying about his pipes.  Rick told me that he would modify my pipes so I won't have to do anything except to bolt them on.  You just need to tell them that you have a SEEG2 so they will modify the pipes to fit without worrying about the pipes hitting the brake lever.
 I can't wait until my pipes arrive [smiley=helmet.gif]

Well I feel lucky then....
I just cam in from the garage after installing the Freedom package. I ordered it from Rick just before the holiday weekend, arrived yesterday, and installed and running 1/2 hour ago. Sorry to hear that they are out of stock (it sound great! be patient and wait).
I will comment more after riding tomorrow, but want to say, that I told him I had a '05 SEEG2 (with billet brake lever), and he dialed me right in.
The header cam dimpled for clearance, and the heat shield was modified for it. As for the springs. I have no idea what anyones' problems have been [smiley=nixweiss.gif], I put them on just-like-that, with no difficulies. Anyone remember ever putting drum brakes on your car...without the fancy spring tool? Improvise...it's a piece of cake. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I hadn't thought of that Shovel.  That's an outstanding idea  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] .

I'd already come up with a few really good tales about why that hole is in the right side but I'd never had the bike getting shot in the ass yet  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

hd2003, I was not complaining about reply 97 or 211.  Rick asked me the e-mail address while we were talking about the Freedom Pipe setup.  I told him that almost every person who have purchased their pipes say thet are the best pipes on the market for the SEEG.  I just told him what was said in reply 97 & 211.  Rick stated that he has never heard anything about the bolts needing to be a larger size.  He thanked me for my order and stated that he had our site up and was trying to read it completely through.  I have spoken to both Rick and Mark several times and they have always given me the straight forward info.  I am just counting the days until I have the Freedom Pipe system on my bike.  I expect the best, that is why I purchased the best.
