Just like pipes, the louder the better, they save lives.
My dad drives a tractor-trailer, maybe I should ask him about the horns on his rig...that would scare the &%$( out of anyone.

Dood, I am all thumbs and this one was really easy.  I really like the air horn, causes many sore necks on bad drivers!

Stebel Magnum (that d00d has pictured)-

Has anyone tried this under the stock cow bell air horn cover yet to see if it will fit????   Everyone still think it is louder than stock???

Thanks-Bob

Mine shipped today and I will let you know if it fits under the stock cover, When I saw dood's Sunday (And Heard it) it should fit and it is a lot louder than the stock Honker!

If you go back and re-read the whole thread someone posted that it fits under there, I was gonna git a new cover but I read that and changed my mind, I'll let you know when I put it on.

Thanks Wayne.  Someone has to be a guinea pig.   :)  I don't think Hoist has tried his yet.  Fired00d didn't put his under a stock cover but liked the sound.

I'm interested to see if Hoist gets his under the Eagle cover...we have the same covers.  I agree with Wayne, I asked d00d to demo the Stebel when we met up with them in the mountains, and it's definitely louder than stock... :)

Somthin' like this?
I think those fork mounted wind deflrctors are mounted backwards! The ones that I have off of my 06 , will not fit the SEUC2! Due to the front turn signal mounts.

Wayne,
That's all you get. No instructions. The two metal strips aren't needed. Just take the cover off the bike and remove horn from cover, put new horn back in cover, connect wires and you're done.

I then tried to install the new horn in the stock cover (Notice the silver plastic cap removed from the TM80) The Tm80 would only fit with the cover removed (the bolt shank) was not long enough to fit thru the bracket hole with the plastic cover in place.

NOTE: for dood you only need loctite for reassemble (Damn it give me time the finish the post  ;D)
