No word yet.  I called and spoke briefly to Bubba yesterday but he was pretty tied up and had not been back to service to see where they were at on it.  I will call Chad today to see what is happening.   

Feel free to stop in and check on her   Always nice to take a camera as well.

It just wouldn't be right for ME to posting pictures of YOUR scooter man! LOL I'd be tempted to sit on it etc. You gotta be getting antsy! If it's ready you planning to make the trip this w/e?

I would just install map #84 for the initial break in period.  RedDevil, and a few others have done this for the break in period and it works fine.  I will get it tuned after a thousand miles or so.  At that time I will make the decision to stay with the stock header pipes or go to the V & H true duals.

Go ahead and take the pics and send them to me   That way we will get around the loophole.

If they tell me it will be ready tomorrow a.m., I am out of here today just as soon as I can get my buddy's trailer.  If not today, hopefully they will tell me it will be done Monday a.m.  I could take off on Sunday (Easter) and pick it up first thing Monday and head south.

I told them to take their time to make sure it was perfect.  I read some of the stories about stuff falling off or lines coming disconnected and I want no part of that!!  I also need to inspect the paint, as some of the posts on here imply some issues with the paint on these babies.

I'll let you know what the plan is once I find it out.

Sounds awesome! You gotta be excited. I've read a lot about the paint issues myself. I've yet to see one though. I'm not doubting what the peope on this site say, BUT, I've yet to see one with paint issues. I asked my dealer last week if they've had any paint issues. They know of none. I was at bubba's place a few weeks ago, and woman was there to pick up a brand new fat boy. They were ordering her a brand new gas tank. she showed me the flaw and it was so minute I never would have seen it. She wasn't concerned about it at all. At least bubba and Four rivers were doing the right thing by her. I'm sure if they see something, they would have already told ya.

Thanks for keeping me posted. I'd love to see ya drive off with her. Not sure what the weather will be. It's cold here right now. supposed to be low 20's this weekend.

I'm sure it will be fine.  Those guys have been  good to deal with.  Nothing but compliments from you and Barry on how they treat their customers!! . 

The weather is cold here too. Only a high of low 50's today and only up to 49 tomorrow   I think this is our last blast of "cold" weather here in Texas.  Next week is all 70's!!!

If they do call late today and say she will be ready, I could always leave at O 'dark thirty on Saturday a.m. and try to make it up before they close on Saturday evening.  That is plan B.  Plan C is picking it up sometime the following week.

Heard from the Parts Manager today...said the V & H ovals are not in   Looks like next week
