Chief,
I don't think you can really consider Howies numbers in this data pool as of yet as the tuning he had done was well better than it was, but definately not finished yet. You have spent hours and hours on your's to get the a/f's and tuning dead on. I know once Howie is home he will get it back on the dyno. It would be interesting to repeat this test when the tuner is done with his power commander to see a side by side comparison of yours and his both with PC and SE A/C and pipe of choice. From looking at his dyno sheet he is still too lean in a few areas and would definitely show up as a skewing effect on the this data.
I agree. Howie is a Work in Process, in more ways than one. We pulled his map and it doesn't look like a whole lot of time was put into doing it. Both cylinders were tuned together and it looked pretty rough. He plans on going back for a full tune when he gets home.
We took the opportunity of riding side-by-side and shooting both, with the same gun, in the same spot to get the best comparison possible.
Hot Springs will be the next good opportunity to get some good comparisons that can include other model years at the same time.
