As many of you know, I've had an intermittent electrical problem with the engine shutting down on my 07 CUSE2 (6K mi.). After changing the voltage regulator, TSSP, ECM, Systems Relay, Main Wire Harness, Ignition Switch, Ignition Harness and Connector, it looks like the problem is finally fixed (about 1500 miles, no problem). However, I just noticed this weekend that the rear cylinder is leaking at the rear of the head gasket. After a couple of hours of riding there's oil across two fins, and drops on the chrome cover on the transmission. Also, 110 badge has yellowed a little. In addition to this, I've had to replace the HK radio, rebuilt the clutch master cyclinder, and replaced the clutch. The MOCO gave me an extended warranty to help offset the inconvenience, but where does it end? It's one thing after another. Now I have to find out if there's a porosity problem, is the compression release working, or did overheating cause the gasket to fail, or is the cylinder out-of-round? To top it all off, I waited until I was reasonably sure that the electrical problem was solved before doing any modifications. Last weekend I installed the mini beast air horn, V&H true duals and ovals, V&H Fuelpak, and Dohrety Powerpac with vents and billet cover. It's running great, and now this. Am I beating a dead horse, or should I stick with it a little longer?
