Thanks for asking HB. It's amazing how easily the hijacking of threads happens

, but it's all good.
As for the ride, it is everything I thought it would be. The biggest difference you notice vs. my 05 Heritage is the performance. Torque and HP are amazing and this thing really flies! I have 300 miles on her and got it remapped when I got her back to Dallas. I'm getting a little decel popping, but I think that will be fixed when I get her dyno tuned at 1K. I have read the manual and have purchased the service manual and supplement (not mechanical, just like to read about this stuff so I don't appear as dense as I may look

). Next up to learn is the Navigation system and get the XM radio activated. I plan on hooking up the garage door opener this weekend as well.
She handles pretty well for a big bike. Four Rivers did a great job on getting her ready to ride. I"m happy with all of the mods I did ( K&N, V& H slip ons, various chrome pieces) and now and looking for phase 2

. I see a few bolts that definitley need covering and I want to get some dividers/organizers for the tour pak and bags.
Also, I need to move the passenger backrest back a notch to create a little more room for the passenger. I'll look up how to do it in the service manual. I would love to have the pack detachable like yours, but that will come in time. I wish someone close to me had the hawg-tunes speakers. I would love to hear the difference between them and the current stock speakers.
My biggest concern is the heat the engine generates and how it will handle our Texas heat. I plan on removing the lowers this weekend to provide more air over the rear cylinder. I am also researching what oil to use when it gets changed out. Mobil 1 and Amsoil are under consideration. I have been happy with Mobil 1 in the Heritage.
I plan on getting the first 500 miles on her this weekend, and then quickly get another few hundred so I can get her checked out and tuned properly.
All in all, I am very happy with the bike.
