Things have been hectic as he$$ for me at the work place the last 2 months or so. Seems like the harder I work, the farther behind I get. Some of the BS a person has to put up in running your own business is tough. Sometimes I wonder, is it really worth it? I could invest $20 in a thermos and lunch box and go work for someone else. So, I get home today, the temperature is 55 degree and the sun is shining. What's a person to do? Twist the throttle. Knees in the wind. Wind in my hair. Crank up the LED station on the XM radio. I stayed gone 4 hours. I think some of the wind must have been hitting me in the ears because my head is all clear now. I went by Four Rivers HD and parked next to several other bikes who were doing the same thing, out riding. This guy and his dad were just getting there. The dad was on a UC, and the son was on a street glide. He walks over....WOW!!!!!!! That is ONE beautiful machine!!!! WHAT is it?  ;D. Gotta love that chit. I saw KHD but didn't speak. I didn't stay long, and got back on the bike, and took off again. I can't wait till spring! I get home and Cheri just doesn't understand riding in circles JUST to be on the road. How do you explain it? I don't get sitting at home wathing TV when it's 55 outside, unless you're not fortunate enough to own a Harley. Oh, I haven't mentioned politics yet.

I bought a 35 ton Grove crane last year. 1976 model. I've been having some mechanical issues with it, so, after researching I found an older retired man who's always worked on heavy equipment. I left the crane with him for 3 weeks to repair some of these issues. This guy is 65 years old or so, as redneck as they come. His home and shop looks like a graveyard for old tractors, bulldozers and lawnmowers. His hobby is pulling lawnmowers. for you city slickers out there, it's like a tractor pull but there's no tractors. He spends practically no money on them but manages to win most of the events he enters. He cranked up a mower with a 12 HP Kohler engine in it. It sounded like a Harley. He's getting 45 HP out of it. LOL. He's got one with a 750 Yamaha engine in it. It's got a rail frame and wide knobby tires. He says it's actually scary to run.

I may let him work on my HD! LOL

Did he show you a dyno sheet?
I'm betting if John Golden tuned it the H/P would be up to 50.
Now that's what you need in your bike!

That was supposed to be popcorn in the earlier post, not an evil grin.  Evil grins just don't make sense in a post like that.  I don't want to be confused with Iski and make posts that leave you scratching your head.  This one's supposed to be an emoticon drinking beer.......  :daisy:
