This is a REALLY good picture of some serious scoring going on in my oil pump housing. In case you are wondering.............I've been wondering why my oil pressure has been hovering around 28 psi since my first trip to Kansas. Wonder could this be the reason..............and would also like to know what caused this. Red says there was a "chunk" missing from one of my tensioners. If that is the case, then I just became the most headstrong advocate for switching to gear driven cams. I've lived that nightmare before, and I don't care to ever do it again. Looks like I was well on my way to a repeat adventure............at a mere 18351 miles.
Switch to gear drives NOW...........before it is too late!!!!!
