Heard from Dennis yesterday evening.  He has all of my parts except my heads and throttle body.  Those items are due to him tomorrow.  Once he finishes the build, he'll heat cycle the bike and put 150 miles on it before I pick it up.  I'll put no less than 300 miles on it getting it back up here to Meridianville.  I'll need to put 400 miles on it up here and another 300 miles riding back down to Cripple Creek for the final tune.  Honestly, I don't know when everything will be done, nor am I going to rush anything.  Quality takes time.  I've seen the results of a rush job, and that isn't what I want.  I do feel relatively confident that Renea and I will be able to ride the green bike to MV next month.  Whether it gets the 1000 break-in miles and final tune before then remains a challenge.  The good news is, work is going to slack up enough after the end of the month for me to take some vacation days to burn off the break-in miles and get it tuned.  I need to complete those tasks before 4 October since Renea and I are going to Talladega Superspeedway 5-7 October and leaving for MV on 11 October.........unless I break it in during the MV trip.  Several courses of action are available.  We'll decide what to do when Dennis completes the build.  Right now, three parts are holding things up.  If he gets them tomorrow, and the build goes well, then I'm confident I can get it broke in and tuned before the NASCAR races at Talladega.  We'll see.  Thanks for asking.

yep and i apologise. vendors dont have your bike in their shop------------so they dont see it the way we do. but then again, if they are behind, that means they are good.

Long day...........for Dennis.  Well, me too.  Anyway, SIGNIFICANT progress has been made on my engine.  It'll be running tomorrow.  I'll pick it up this weekend, burn off 1000 miles, and get it back to Dennis next Tuesday for final tune and a back tire.  Gotta have this thing ready for MV before we head to Talladega next weekend.
Too friggin' wasted to post all the pictures, but I will post this one.  Have a look at these gears and cam support plate!!  BEEFY!!
