My dealer who really great most of the time just replaced the left grip saying it was the master and had all of the control. I can't really say they were replaced so this time I will make a little mark to be sure they are replaced if they so they did. Bummer you have to doubt the truth with someone you would like to trust.
Oh well. :nervous:
That's the same thing my dealer said. When mine went out they only needed to replace the left control. Mine was replaced a few weeks ago and so far so good, but haven't had the bike out that much due to crappy weather.

Same problem with the grips on my 07 CVO, they went out in a cold rain with wet gloves.  I did notice I was getting a small shock through the wet gloves. Harley should just  change the name to gripes.

well said! Last night they said to try it at 5 and see if they don't heat up. I wonder of this will take a week before they order the new ones? :nixweiss:

They were on back order. Took a few weeks for mine to come in. Dealer must have known about a problem because they ordered the grip for me without looking at the bike first. I told them the problem, said that I didn't think it was fixable and needed to be replaced. They just called me when the part came in. They also replaced my cover for the 'A' variant without issue.

Yep,
mine are out now.... dealer ordered some and there not here yet, they are covering them under warranty, does the extended warranty cover them also? my factory warranty runs out next month???
Extended will cover them - 2 sets - garbage in my book - they should make them easier to change them also - some kind of high tech plug instead of having to disassemble half the bike.
