Actually, this happened when I was on Active Duty. Accounting and finance refused to pay the bill. They said I should have taken a cab to Dulles. I told them I called for a cab, and the cab got lost trying to find my house, so I drove my car. They said I should have taken the next flight. The next flight would have been the next day and I had high-value equipment sitting at customs waiting for me to pick it up. The flight the next day was not an option. It was supposed to be a one week trip; but, we were extended to six weeks. So, I ended up paying the parking bill.
Back to Trailers. HUBBARD opined FEATHERLITE Model 1625 is the best on the market. Any other opinions?
I have a Haulmark "Edge" Lowhauler. I like the lower height, once I stopped bashing my head going in and out, but it hides behind a fence nice.
It pulls true, stops well and has torsion axles. It is now 4 years old and although it only has around 5k on it it has worn well. I would not call it light though and it was pricey at 4k but is finished inside and out. No rivets on the exterior, poished Alu on the bottom, painted alu interior with 3 cabinets forward. A b&w floor that is a little slick when wet and nice diamond plate ramp.
I have no experiance with any other kind of trailer.
