Go to the closest airport, park in long term, unload and ride the bike out, paying the parking stub you just got as you drove in. Then go back after your trip, get a ticket as you go in, load up and leave paying, again the ticket you just got as you entered.
Very cheap, somewhat secure parking. I have friends who do this in Miami, regularly. Only thing is, you can only unload and leave and return on one bike, second bike, both ways would not have a ticket to pay.

wouldnt recommend this trick in the airport here..
They use ALPR technology to scan every plate every day in the lot and match it to the ticket

Yep,

My one week trip to Korea was extended to six weeks.  I forgot where I parked my car at Dulles.  Told them the make and model and they drove me to it.

Six weeks at Dulles.  $15 a day in the garages or about $10 out on Rudder.  That's an ugly parking bill.  Ouch!

Be interesting to know if there's any states left that don't share info on tickets.Know from experience that New York has agreements with Pa. & Fla.

Got a ticket for illegal passing in SC four years ago and it never showed up on my NC record. I don't know if the cop dropped the charges after I paid the ticket or what. I was very lucky and I'll never do that again - I found out illegal passing is 4 points in NC.

Probably so.  He pays a lot of bills that most of us would try to avoid if he weren't covering things.

Actually, this happened when I was on Active Duty.  Accounting and finance refused to pay the bill.  They said I should have taken a cab to Dulles.  I told them I called for a cab, and the cab got lost trying to find my house, so I drove my car.  They said I should have taken the next flight.  The next flight would have been the next day and I had high-value equipment sitting at customs waiting for me to pick it up.  The flight the next day was not an option.  It was supposed to be a one week trip; but, we were extended to six weeks.  So, I ended up paying the parking bill.

Back to Trailers.  HUBBARD opined FEATHERLITE Model 1625 is the best on the market.  Any other opinions?

I have a Haulmark "Edge" Lowhauler.  I like the lower height, once I stopped bashing my head going in and out, but it hides behind a fence nice.

It pulls true, stops well and has torsion axles.  It is now 4 years old and although it only has around 5k on it it has worn well.  I would not call it light though and it was pricey at 4k but is finished inside and out.  No rivets on the exterior, poished Alu on the bottom, painted alu interior with 3 cabinets forward.  A b&w floor that is a little slick when wet and nice diamond plate ramp.

I have no experiance with any other kind of trailer.

They are all aluminum except for the axles/wheels.  They are made in St Johns, Michigan..
