Just a thought (I know, it's dangerous for me to think).  Added my address under the signature line to let them know where the letter was coming from.  Those that have not mailed their letters yet might want to do this as well to emphasize this interest is country-wide.

By the way, I'm firing my attorney and Twolane is writing all my letters from now on. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Ditto JC! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Made two copies and mailed out today. What a good feeling....kinda like when you cast your vote at election time! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Now Don, during your next lunch break can you write a letter telling them to hurry up with my Lil Bananna. [smiley=laugh.gif]

                         Thanks,  JR [smiley=laugh.gif]

Prior to sending mine off, I had a friend check the ownership of the dealership.  Bertrand is the Owner/GM at Colonial.  Sent the dealer copy directly to him.

Just received a call from Susie (MoCo) in Milwaukee.  She advised they are aware of the issue, just wanted to let me know they were aware of it and they had received another letter (suspect it was more than a single letter).  Seems like the effort got some attention.  Best of Luck Mrs. WeCVO! srqseeg, you are the first to say anything to me.... wait, just checked my home voice message box, and sure enough, Suzie from Harely Davidson, Milwaukee called to let me know that one letter and one from me was recieved, along with several others from my fellow riders, all showing support in my plea to have my service issues acknowledged.  She has forwarded mine and first letter to the representative that handles my dealers account, acknowleding that many others have also written in, the letters the essence of the first.  She wishes that hopefully I will get any issues resolved to my satisfaction.

Now  faster than phone...... Naitram's forum.   [smiley=wings.gif]  Thanks everyone for all your support and concerns. I was just beginning to believe that I would not hear anything at all, as it has been more than a week since I was asked to stop back in to have another picture taken of my yellowed pipes.

But now onto a much more positive and happy thread...... I enrolled in an advanced riders course this Sunday and I will get to push the cherry SEEG through its paces with the help of instructors.  Since I have temporarily lost my map reader and ride leader, this sounds like the second most fun thing I could do this weekend.   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]  Yaaaaaa hoooooo!  Not sure if this is considered riding, but I am sure excited.

And that the dealer may be nudged in just giving me a courtesy call to tell me something would be good too.  I will have a great weekend.

I don't want anyone to think that the entire dealership is bad, quite the contrary. I think I have just had the misfortune of having not the best care and attention paid to my bike.  The dealership itself is real good.  They have a bang up motor clothes department that I have purchased a ton of clothes in. There parts department is fantastic and if they don't have something, they go to great lengths to get it for you.  There is one man who does nothing but help you to accessorize your bike. The Service manager, may have his hands tied, I don't know why he is not talking to me about what is happening to my bike, but he is very nice and friendly There are two service writers that you would just love to have as best friends.  Happy with the final fit and finish, no I am not, and the pipes.... well......, but please don't think that the dealership is completely no good.  And the HOG members are very friendly too.  Now HD customer services called and left a voice message, I am very impressed. Actually, I don't know how they got my number, I am very very impressed.  Thanks everyone, hoping you are all going to be riding and having fun this weekend. The Ride Report aught to be full on Monday.     [smiley=1syellow1.gif]
