My 06 Ultra was in the shop for the umteenth time for electric issues (loss of complete electrical system while I was riding).  Ever go around a curve and the bike just shuts down?  Not fun!  Well, I walked into the dealership to see if my bike was ready and they were rolling out a used 2006 FLHTCUSE.  It only had 750 miles on it and the dude who bought it had added the 6-speed.  I asked if they would take my current ride as a trade in and 2 hours later I drove the new bike home.  I've had it for a little over a year now and knock on wood, I have had zero problems with it.  It's a sweet ride as-is without being modified.   :joker:

My wife "ordered" me to get mine.  And as the good, loyal, loving, husband that I am, I did as I was told and bought it.   ::)

Well i had went to the Stealer with a friend to pick up his bike where i was on a waiting list for a O/B walk in there was one on the floor had sold tag on it so i didnt think to much about. So we go on to the Service dept to check on friends scooter while standing around waiting my cell phone rings its the Stealer says he's got a O/B on the floor and my name is up next. So i made a short walk back to the showroom and the rest is history. I have enjoyed this bike alot and i have had some issues with it Chrome Radio etc. But its steal a head turner.

The local dealer had the '08 FLHRSE4 shipping in about 6 weeks; I didn't want to wait...so I searched the internet and found one in Muncie, Indiana at Benson's Motorcycles AND it was priced $3,400 less :orange:  So, I flew to Indianapolis, rented a car and drove to the dealership and closed the deal.  I've arranged for a transport to ship the bike to Texas.  Later that night I as I was driving to my sisters to spend the night...a snow storm hit dropping 4" of snow...luckily we were on the outer band of the storm and the snowplows had the roads cleared so I could get to the airport.  My flight was delayed for a couple of hours...but, I did make it back to Texas.  The bike is scheduled to be here next week and I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

Getting my CVO was easy.  I found out it existed last Saturday morning.  About an hour away.  Hauled it home that afternoon.  Been grinning ever since.  Oh, but it's just an old used one. :drink:

I went to the HD store, dropped my trousers, bent over and asked if I may please get plooked in the bum dry, give them 30k and get a bike sloshier than my '35 that comes with inadequate sidebags, un-useable saddle, squishy front forks.  You guys know the deal.   :pineapple:

I went to the dealership to buy a belt tensioning tool for £11.5 ($20) and came away having ordered a SERK - the tool became my most expensive acquisition and is now defunct. :(
