No titties but you have a hemroid instead.

I think that looks like a tongue, a big shiny tongue. ;D

This is absolutely incredible.  I have a place in Grovetown, and the next time I am in Georgia I would very much like to see your bike in person if we happen to be in the same place at the same time.

Thanks for the kind words. Whenever you're going to be in the area just give me a shout and we'll get together. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm planning on it. As time gets nearer, the nights will get later if necessary. Right now I'm still working at a very comfortable pace.

Man, what a transformation!  :2vrolijk_21: After all that, maybe rename her the Phoenix?  :nixweiss:

"In ancient mythology and in myths the phoenix or phœnix is a mythical sacred firebird. The phoenix is a bird with beautiful gold and red plumage. At the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. The new phoenix embalms the ashes of the old phoenix in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis. The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible — a symbol of fire and divinity."

Wow, nice history lesson! Maybe Chief's "new" bike will regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible —

It's ironic that this whole journey began because of a feeling of immortality and invincibility. :nixweiss:

Yeah, I remembered those days. I got to watch the lift-off 3.5 miles away. I was working at LC-39, KSC at the time.

OK, I've got some more pictures of the transformation.

The spaghetti is coming under control. Another 254 ty-raps and everything will be cool.

She's now strong enough to stand on her own feet and leave the crutch of the jack. She'll go back on the jack for final install of the fender, but I just had to see her standing on her own.

Starting to get an idea of the final look. The painted inner fairing is really nice and so much better than just black.
