I just put a deposit on a 2008 Screamin' Eagle Road King, Black Diamond/Silver Dust. I did not do any
research on the bike prior to deposit, I am glad i didn't, because i would not have bought it then. Life is
to short come to find out. Just realized that when my friends wife died in her early 40's. So I figure live it
to the fullest. I hope you all do the same.

Your going to love your scoot. This is the best bike I've ever owned. Besides it's not like this is about life or death....it's more important than that!

Have you been told when you'll get your new ride?
I put $$ down on the same scoot as you and I cant wait!  The dealer tells me the black/silver's will be painted last, so they pushed me back until late May or June.  The wait is gonna kill me!

I hope their is people not having isuues with 110. It seems that their is a lot of negitive response.
It would be good to see more positive then negitive, But if thats what it is, Then thats what it is.

Welcome aboard TDW! :2vrolijk_21:

I can't help but say it, but did ya see the title of this thread. And there's at least 10 more threads like it. These CVO's are great bikes. But these 110's have issues. The only way to deal with the issues is to get them out in the open. So I guess like you said, it is what it is! ;)

Here is my two cents, the next EPA notch hits in 2010, so i don't think we will see anything drastic until then and it is my bet we will see the first water cooled touring at that point. Or maybe a redesigned top end like maybe four valves per cylinder and fat push rod tubes. In any case i think the biggest changes will be in the touring line as these seem to be the problem child's due to heat.

That's total BS!  It's totally up to the dealer whether to get a deposit or not.  The MoCo never knows whether the dealer took a deposit or not.  The MoCo builds bikes and fills orders as they come in....Heck, the MoCo doesn't even care if the bike is sold yet or not.  This dealer told you a "verbal inaccuracy" (that would be a lie! )
