Could you move to Bellingham and be a ful time customer trainer? :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2:

I'm a lay down on this stuff usually, simply dealing as you do with the folks I like the best with the best expectation of good service.

I guess that's why I work locally with a dealer that gives me 10% in stead of someone in another state that doesn't support local rides, school taxes, my community or me.

Funny - I used to be a new hire trainer & occasionally if somebody in the company asks nicely, will do a favor for a real good one now even though for me mostly that's long ago & far away.  Training customers never stops but the trick is to not let on they are being trained.  ;)

Rog - Not a laydown - it' makes sense when your dealer is fair.  If you compare the 10% vs the 20% sure there is a monetary dif.  But I prefer to deal locally whenever I can & there is more to it than price, frankly.  Our local dealer is heavily involved in the community & does lots of stuff nobody hears much about so supporting them is not that difficult - it's a pleasure.  And I do buy stuff elsewhere when the situation warrants.  I do biz with local auto companies also & find my deals compare well to those who travel to some faraway spot where the grass "appears" to be greener.  But if I get screwed, the pooch don't need screwing but once.

That is very true.

Customers are more demanding & expect more.  Niche companies like ours thrive in that environment.

You will probably find that almost any brand of motorcycle that is in the same genre will be found to be superior compared to a Harley, if the magazine is objective in their evaluation of overall performance.  A person who buys a HD is not buying superior technology...on any component.
