Passing Lamps Installed
« on: April 12, 2008, 03:53:49 AM »

I spent some time looking into passing lamps with the turn signals relocated with detachable windshield. This is the installed look that is so familiar to most of ya'all.

I always wanted passing lamps, and super brite type bulbs, so I am PIAA high and low beam, and a new brand name for the high output passing lamps. Nice lamps all the way around, lots of light now.

Looks good Mike. Would you mind taking a pic of the flush mount caps on the tank. Been wondering how they look on that color? (i've got the same)

Thanks,

Howie

What are the part numbers on the PIAA bulbs? I would like to buy some. Where did you get them?

Looks real nice. I just added the same setup to my serk. IMO I never thought it looked like a FL without them. I would like to hear more on the bright bulbs when you have the time .KB

Give me a day or so to get the part numbers for accuracy. I know I did not use PIAA in the passing lamps, they were another brand, revealed soon.

In either case, both passing and driving lamps are very bright.

Howie,

Thank you. I had some pix already in my system. The one picture #112 has my flushmount setup with the gold V logo on it. I think the flush mount gets boring looking after a while, so I rev it up alittle.

Mike I have been running Yellow sealed beam passing lamps since 2002 they really get noticed. Frequently cages pull to the right when I run up behind them. Ride Safe! :coolblue:

ad2,

Sorry for the delay, I've been swamped with two CVO's taking all of my attention.

I don't know if you have received part numbers yet from another source. I will have them for you by tomorrow, April 18th.
