OK, I know NOTHING about dyno charts. Is this good or bad? I hope you can see it. I have heard the air-fuel should be a straight line. First time it was up and down a lot, so I went back and he played with it again to get this run/tune. It seems to be running really well to me. Where the dip in the a/f line is, I can feel that. It stumbles at about 2200 RPMs. guy said he was definately having a hard time getting that out. I really don't care if I have the best HP/TQ numbers, if it's smooth and right.

Almost a hundred foot pounds of torque by 2500 and over that by 2750.  Has to be fun to ride.  Number high, low or otherwise has to feel good going down the road.  Am surprised the AFR is as high as it is though.  Chasing 15:1 or close to it is a bit on the lean side compared to what most tuners go after.  Might get you some decent fuel economy to go with the performance you're getting though.

While at Henry's this weekend, Henry took the Jester out for a spin. When he pulled back in the driveway and stopped, the air cleaner cover broke off. The center of the zipper's air cleaner had broke out, and the cover fell on the concrete. I think she's trying to tell me something. It's not a 110 Screaming Eagle anymore. So, today I picked up a new A/C and I also bought a plain chrome round A/C cover. I got this idea from Henry and I think it's great.

I have a $35,000 Doorbell Cover. I, my friends, have arrived.

That's awesome, Ken.  Really looks great.  I got the idea from Scooter when I was visiting with him and Hobo last summer.  I thought it was a great use for a useless product.  My old cover kept cracking the HD-0800 center, so I took it off and ran an Air Wing billet cover for awhile.  I've recently upgraded to a BHAF, and the only H-D cover that would fit it was the Nostalgia cover.  I'm quite pleased with that arrangement..........and I have a really awesome looking doorbell cover.   :2vrolijk_21:

Chip,

See the dyno sheet they show in there own advertisement.   The PDF is too large to attach here or I would attach it in its entirety.   As I said above Ken may want to talk to Jim's.

I looked at the dyno sheet!
Never said it was at the rear wheel.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Most manufacturers quote horsepower and torque at the crank where the numbers are higher.
The typical loss at the rear wheel based on the readings at the crank will be  approx. 20%.
Using that 20% number and Jim's claimed numbers the rear wheel H/P should be approx. 100 and torque should be approx. 97.
If that's correct then I would say Ken is getting good numbers.

And please note that 20% number is a estmated number, some are higher and some are lower.
The other factor is that the Jim's dyno sheets do not indicate whether F/Injection or a carb was used.
The real bottom line is how it feels when he twist the throttle.
And I believe he's happy with that.

Ken,

Only you can tell.  Numbers aren't bad at all, and of course you can achieve better numbers on that engine, but it might eat a little further into that $750 budget of yours.  Bottom line is: If Ken's happy, then the numbers are perfect.  Numbers are great to post on a website for discussion purposes, but if the bike feels great to you (which I believe to be the case), then ride the girl and keep loving every minute of it!  It sounds like you were running strong with Henry on Thumper and giving them a run for their money and we know that girl (Thumper) can run.

Be careful Ken,  those things have also been know to throw off a little oil now and again.  I would hate to see it leak down on one of your visitors after they rang it a few times.:D   You may want to take it down the next time Howie comes to visit as you know how well he and the 110 get along.....
