SYN 3 Up a Buck a Quart

Harley just incresed there Syn oil up a dollar a quart.. any other oil companies doing this??

syn3 ?  you mean junk in a jar?   Yeah typical low bid bargin basement harley labeled junk.    This wonderful oil broke down at 220 degrees in my deuce, locked up the clutch and shut off the rear cylinder due to heat, yeah great stuff.

Just another reason not to buy it. See all the other threads and do yourself a favor. Buy some quality lubes and forget the Syn 3.

I guess all oil will be going up significantly in price as the barrels of crude double in price.  Real oil, not syn.  ??? har!  spyder

geeezzzz,, thanks guys, didn't say i used syn 3, pointed out it's up a buck a quart, curious if anyone other brands are following suit, Maybe even a suggestion to some of you,,, got out and stock up before your brand gets the price tag....
I don't use syn, still using black gold. I've read the threads, but still sticking with the dinosaur stuff...
Just wanted to clear that up

I'm an Amsoil "Preferred Customer", so I order it with a good discount.  Just ordered a case of v-twin oil and they tacked on a "Surcharge" of $5.29.  I'm sure that the rest of the companies will follow suit with some type of price increase.

yep.  Everything is going to be more now with this hugh increase in fuel costs.......I had a locksmith make a housecall yesterday and his bill included a $10 gas surcharge in addition to the normal $50 minimum service chg.    aaaargh!  :( spyder

An extra dollar for sub-par performance oil, I guess that I will stick with Amsoil which was already a dollar cheaper than Syn3

If the Syn 3 was a good performing oil I still would not buy it. It and all of HD's oils are manufactured by Citgo. Can you say Julio Chavez???? Enough said!
