That $1700 price is the exact reason I went with black Bill,  I figured it would match all my future bikes.

Exactly why mine is black.  I currently have only one bike, but it is rare that I only have one...  When I get another, my black Bushtec will match it no matter the color, just as well as it matches my Red SEUC...   :2vrolijk_21:

You can work a deal on the wheels about 50% off just order the trailer and when you go to pick it up ask about the wheels (before accepting the trailer) and John will knock them down! Hook the trailer up and ride around the block and they become full price  ;)

I tried that exact thing when I was there, but Andrew wouldn't budge, not even to give me the price they were when I ordered the trailer, before they jumped up $400.

damn...wish I ordered last winter when they were doing their 'specials'

$649 for Gloss Black...$1700 to match the Anny Ultra CVO colors...

Wheel...10 spoke (ok, the bike is 9 but it is the closest match) polished aluminum...gulp, $1295

Other "needs"
Chrome neck and stand
cooler package
Hitch
Aerowing

Shipping $510

This won't be cheap

total delivered...
Black ~$6.5K
Color matching ~$7.5K

double damn...forgot the Chrome Bumper!   more cash needed!

Sonofabitch....  Ok, now I know I got a good deal.  Had wondered how well I'd scored on the used one, if at all.  But that baby looks better now than it ever has before.

Once again I lucked out.   The Roadstar in its red color and non-bike-specific Screamin' Eagle stripe job looks good behind either bike.  Love it when a plan comes together :drink: .

That's why until MoCo comes out with another SE in Sunrise Yellow Pearl and Stingray Silver, I'm not budging. But color matched is the only way I could go, I sit in my garage and just marvel over how good it looks. :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Was in jest earlier when comparing the expense of the used unit I found.  But until Bill's description here I didn't fully realize what these things were going for new and as tricked out as most here would like to see them.  I've got just over $3k in the trailer here including the bumper and lid organizer I added from Bushtec and the complete repaint and striping I did.

That includes the hitch for the SEEG though the overall cost of deployment will go up another $300 or so when the hitch for the SERG is added in.  Even so the $3300-3500 range seems like a lot for the portable storage.  Don't get me wrong, I've come to really appreciate and enjoy the storage and the utility, functionality and convenience it brings to the road trips.  But I'm sure I'd have never bit it off for the cost of starting with all of it new.

I admire Bill's and everyone else's efforts to get them nice and have them just how you want them.  It's going to be sweet Bill.  Anne is going to adore the extra space.  But I'm really glad I squeaked in on the cheap.

i could drop the price by $2300 if I go with stock wheels and Black paint...told Anne that it would buy a lot of scrunchies...she is now not so sure painted to match is necessary...
