When I buy a stock, I research the company, and if it looks better than the current stock price, then i consider buying it.

Don't believe in "timing" the market, since I don't have Peter Lynch genes & even if I did, it's best to stay invested.  But it's also best to unload dogs, and frankly, a few years ago, the Moco started barking.

Could be right , but they have made me alot of money and I think there is more gold in them there hills.

I've owned several stocks multiple times - Walmart, GE, etc.  HD will rise again.

After and onluy after the finance market starts to ris...A weak segment to HD is all the refi'ed loans they are carrying.
They could not sell them before the fall....write-off plus declining market plus fat divi = something not so good...JMHO of course.

Maybe instead of a letter in the mail we'll all get a bunch of HD options priced at 50.

Well, it's been over three weeks now, and I haven't heard a peep about any "fix" from the MoCo...anybody have any new "I heard it from the guy, that sells milk to the daughter of the illegal alien that mows the lawn of the manger of the pool company that cleans Willie G's fish pond."

My bike goes in Tuesday for the head gasket leak. My dealer told me that they received the parts Harley recommended for the fix. I know they got new rings, gaskets and other parts. I do not know if this is "the fix" but my dealer feels confident that they will be able to keep the problem from reoccurring. Time will tell. I just got back from a ride to the coast, I got to tell ya, I love the way our 110's run. I was riding with several other guys that had 88 inch motors, with mods, I had to work at keeping my speeds down, I could walk away from them. I really hope this fix works, I do really like the bike. During my trip people mentioned how much they loved the look of the bike.

When they tear into the bike and make the repairs, I will post what I learn and the results.

Nothing Charlie. Waiting to hear, just like everyone. I called my dealer last week to see if he knew anything and it was all news to him.

I've just heard this from too many un-related sources to believe it an't gonna happen. I was told, parts to dealers in first and second week of June and a letter to follow. I never was told anything on the timing of the letter other than it would be after the dealers got the parts. I don't know what the part delivery status is. Maybe it didn't happen like it was planned. Just guessing, but really hoping to hear something before the new models are announced next month.

Same here Chuck.  I was told no later than 60-days and that was near the end of April so time is almost up.  Hopefully it will be before new models announced.
