I've been following this thread for awhile and fortunately I haven't had a problem with my bike, but still it just seems like a matter of time till it will occur. Anyway  I ran my bike on the Hd site and it showed I was a canditate for the new gaskets. I called the dealer and they were sweet as pie, he told me that they would be replacing the heads as well. So in she goes on Aug 27th and he promised me my bike back by the weekend.

It will be interesting to see how the dealer will change the heads because it is not included for the Springer, Dyna or Road King upgrade program.   You can read it yourself.

Don't think the moco will pay the dealer for the heads since they are not part of 0906.  Be interesting to see if they really follow through and change them.

Ok my bad but not my fault. I called the service guy back to verify and he said sorry his mistake it's gaskets, comp release, acr, bolts etc. He thought  and why I have no idea that mine was a police bike with a 103 and I guess there suppost to get new heads or something. Sorry for stirring the pot but that's what the dude told me.

I checked the HD site, my 07 UltraSE-2 is covered by campaign 0905!!

Called the dealer, "We have a set of heads on the shelf ready to install, along with the rest of the items needs for the service program"!!! :bananarock:

I asked about the starter noise, she said "We have been seeing this problem on the Police 103" bikes, possible missing teeth on the ring gear, they will take a look & fix as needed"

Appointment to drop it off tommorow morning at 9am, possibly have the bike ready for pickup sometime next week, as early as Monday or Tuesday evening, (maybe longer if the starter/ring gear issue is positive, she is not sure if those parts are on the shelf.   :pineapple:

Taxman, good to see you on board again. It's been awhile. Glad to hear your dealer is taking care of you. Report back to us when it's done.

Was just at Dealer today, had fuel pump recall done.
Told me I had head recall also, (I did already know this because of all info on this site)  Thanks again guys.
He said I will get new heads, even if mine are NOT leaking.
Also said I can wait till winter for fix, since its good for 2 years.
Just thought I would give an update.
The shop is Z&M in greensburg PA.
Great service sofar, real happy about that.

Am thinking about several other things to do when I get this recall installed - cams, etc.  Will go back & re-read some threads.

Has anyone done cams? What is the best bolt in cam? If I do a cam would I have to do a SERT rather than a PCIII?

The wife's bike is in for the 906 2/3 of a fix. No Heads to many Engineer's have their heads in the sand. I forgot to ask if they are applying TT370 lower rocker boxes and gaskets. It was listed on service sheet. They called and the center case bolt is not compatable with the Harley side chrome cover. the bolt was leaking. So I had them remove the OCD. Another call to customer service i guess. See if they can find a fix and allow the chrome cover. HaHAHA I'm sure they will really care!!

New member here.  Picking up my CVO Fat Bob next week.  Any word on if the 110's issues were resolved before the 09s were built.  Posts on the 07-08 SE 110 issues have got me concerned.

I'm beginning to have confidence in the latest fix.  Several months ago I went out shopping for a CVO Ultra and the 2 that I found were leaking on the dealer floors.  Today I saw an 08 and an 09 and both were spotless.  I almost walked out the door with the 09, but I already have my name on the list at another dealer and while I was bs'ing with the salesperson a guy came in, took it for a test ride and bought it when he came back.  His wife wasn't too crazy about the autumn haze/octane orange, but obviously her opinion changed during the ride.  A guy road off on the '08 15mins before they closed.
