That Friday night we met up with Mr and Mrs Harleyteam ( Dennis & Karen). We had a great meal at a local Mexican and shared numerous stories about life and biking.

Thanks to you both for taking the time to meet us and take us out to dinner.

Well that takes me up to our departure from Toronto on Saturday 6th September.

But........................ I don't know if anyone noticed, but the pictures I posted started around the Badlands. I have another good few pics of our first weeks riding down from Calgary to Yellowstone and across to South Dakota for Sturgis.

I just noticed after posting the last lot of pics from Niagara that I don't have any of our exalted forum leader Neal.

i don't know why that is - forgot the camera? ran out of battery juice? 

Anyways, Neal rode a 900 mile round trip to come and see us (awesome) and we shared a great night in Niagara. I've nicked one of Neal's earlier photos here.

Thanks for coming over Neal it was great to see you - you are now officially the first person that I have seen twice from the CVO Forum. I think that it is very fitting that you hold that crown.

Nige, do they still charge the $25 to go up the CN tower if you have a dinner reservation?  The tower in Niagara Falls has a revolving restaurant as well.  Sorry to have missed you.  I was going to join up with Neal on the way but had to go to Florida at the last minute and left that morning.  What a wonderful and it's so well documented here for others to follow.  Great job!

No they don't. If you have a dinner reservation it is free to go up the tower. Guess that means you make a bit of a saving on the cost of the dinner (which was very good).

It was a shame you could'nt be there. Hopefully we'll catch ya the next time.

I think this thread is as much for me as anyone else - I intend to write the trip up as well and this will help to jog my memory whwn I do it. I guess that is going to be a winter project.

This was the set up on the bike. SPOT satellite tracker which had thousands of views on the Jason Jonas site during the course of the trip and the Garmin Zumo. The Zumo was programmed for every day of the ride before we left. It worked faultlessly and meant we included all of the great roads and scenary I had pre-planned.

Glacier National Park  - there must be more rivers, streams and waterfalls in this area than in most places in the World. Stunning.
