This will add even more confusion about the SERKs and other non-Ultra models with the 110.  TT372 clearly states that 'As of March 18, 2008, ALL (emphasis added) 110 cubic inch CVO motorcycles will receive changes to the valve guides.'

So if the current production models get the new guides why the heck not the ones under program 0906?  Inquiring minds what to know.

Ultra, I had read that too and that's why I was amazed to see that they only were replacing heads on the Ultras.

So when someone (not on the chosen list) has a valve guide go, and out of warranty,  get right to the lawyers.  There is plenty of evidence.

Calling Customer Service tomorrow.  Hey remember me?

Actually, if that happens, you should be covered, even if your warranty is up. I think calling them is the right thing to do. When I first started talking with them regarding the leaks, I was told several times that since it was an ongoing issue, that any problems in the same area would be covered even after the vehicle warranty was up.

I can't imagine they would have a foot to stand on denying a claim should you have a problem like that.

I talked to the dealer service rep. this week about my original fact warrenty expires aug.2 how that will affect my head recall and he said it still would be covered and when parts make it to the dealer or winter comes I can get the heads put on. Then I talked to my motor guru and he said when he seen the new heads he would check them out and see witch would be better fixing my heads or installing new heads,as soon as I get that info I will post info. Both Bulletins contain the attached note.  So I don't think you can make any assumptions about Harley taking care of these issues indefinitely.

Agreed, totally. Each case would be a separate issue. It would have to help the case for getting a head replaced due to a dropped valve guide in a Road King since the same heads were replaced on the Ultras. Replacing the Ultra's heads sets a precedent that should work in the favor of an owner who owns another bike running the same heads as those replaced. No guarantees though.

Both bulletins are page 1 of 2 only; I'm assuming the 2nd page on each is just claim processing stuff for the dealer and wasn't posted here.

Before you call CS, hit yourself in the head with a hammer several times just so you can bring yourself down to their intelligence level when you are speaking with them.
