Hear ye, hear ye; there be cards here.

That's right.  I have the new business cards in hand.  They were delivered this afternoon.  In fact got the little boxes all taped together and addressed for shipping this afternoon as well (preemptive apology for the amount of tape you might have to take off the little boxes).

Will drop them all in the mail tomorrow.  They will be going priority mail with delivery confirmation.  According to the USPS that an average 2-3 ship so everyone should have cards in hand by Thursday-ish.  If you have not received yours by the end of the week let me know and I'll send you the tracking number for your parcel.

Several of you have already paid.  Several have not; or at least it's not got here yet.  Now's the time to get it in the mail if you've not got around to it yet.

There are a minimal amount of cards left should anyone still want some.  I bought a few more than were ordered so late comers could participate.  A batch of 500 cards will be $18.00.  With the few left will also break them down to boxes of 250 for $10.65.  I'm not making a profit because of the difference in price.  In fact a bit of the overall shipping cost came out of my pocket to begin with.  It's just that the overall shipping cost sending them 250 at a time rather than 500 at a time makes it cost you more.

And to wind this thread down, the cards look good.  You all should like them.  You should all like them very soon.  And thanks again Striker for such a nice design.

Striker,

Awesome job!  I'm sure glad we have all of these professional in the group! I think So Cal is covered pretty well so I'll leave the cards to those of you from other parts of the World to hand out.

C'mon JC, everyone knows that California is so weird it's got it's own space-time continuum.  So if I mailed them next Friday for delivery last Tuesday you'll have them only on alternating Tuesdays when Governor Moonbeam sings opera in his underwear on the end of the Bay Bridge.  So that should be anytime now  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Twolane,
I would like to get a box of these cards(250) if possible. To whom and where do I send the check. I will include my address with the check or I could send you a PM if you would prefer.
Thanks

Ya think the members should come up with an easy hand signal when under power ,on the road when comming up on another cvo, to indicate your a site member. -AK

AK, got to admit I'd be a little worried about a group "gesture" from this crowd.  I think I've already got a pretty good idea what it would be.  In fact I'm pretty sure JC and 103 have both "shared" it with here pretty recently  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Enough of that silly stuff!

AK your right!

A signal of some kind would be great!
As I pass a S/E I always wonder if they know about the site.
A signal would be fun.
And "NO" 103,  JC, and magoo wouldn't get any different signal.
At least not from me.

Also, some kind of little sticker or something to be place on the bike somewhere that shows that the owner is a member of the site would be good.

As I go places and pass out cards I always wonder it the bike I'm leaving a card on is already a member.
Maybe a small sticker to go on top of the oil dipstick. Or maybe an even smaller one that can go on the trim piece on the front brake caliper.  Smaller the better. Just so that when you walk up to a S/E you know where to look to tell if they are a member.

Maybe a new thread on this one!

How about a "small quanity" o fcards. I just don't know what I would do with 250 - 500 cards. I was thinking maybe in the 50 quanity range. I'm sure there are others here that don't mind spending the money but having to many cards is just wasteful.

Thanks,
Duane

Porthole, smaller than 250 I'd have to just let guys divvy up amongst themselves after they got them.  They come 250 to a box and you'd end up spending as much in postage as you would be for cards if you did less than a box of them.

With what was requested earlier today there should be 500 cards left now I think.  That's two boxes of 250 each for anyone thinking about it.
