If you want in Jim just drop me a PM with your shipping address and let me know how many batches you want.  A batch will be 500 cards.

Ok, so here's the latest bit of guidance on the business cards:

Got a chance to speak with a printer I know today.  The $15.00 per 500 that I'd suggested turned out to be a bit optimistic; but not much.  We'll be at $18.00 per 500 and that will cover the cost of my mailing them to you.

The difference is accounted for in these cards costing a bit more to print than those I normally I have done.  These are much prettier and, apparently, as in other things, prettier costs more  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

As soon as I get a final PDF version of the card file from Striker I'll get it to the printer.  He's said I should have the cards in hand within a week after that.  So assuming I get him the proof first thing after the holiday I should have cards back by around the 12th.

Would then get them in the mail right away so, hopefully, you'd have them in hand by around mid month.

This is also the last opportunity for anyone else to participate.  We have confirmed orders so far for 8000 cards (500 cards per batch x 16 members getting them, nice job guys).

I'm going to go ahead and get 4 batches (2000 cards) extra and cover their cost myself for now so that a small number of people can yet participate if they decide to.  Should no one else want to we'll just have a few in reserve to supply whomever uses theirs up or to replace a lost mailing.

If they're are several of you geographically close to each other don't forget to consider sharing a batch.  If you're just sitting the fence so far it's time to make up your mind.  But, most of all, the weekend is here so it's time to go for a ride and enjoy the holiday.

Have a good 4th everyone  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Also......

Just sent a PM to everyone that had requested cards with my mailing address or Paypal address.  If you'd requested cards and didn't get a PM let me know.  Don't think I missed any but it's always possible.  If I pinged anyone twice, well, blame it on caffeine  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Have a good one everyone  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Just an FYI on the cards.   Just received an email confirming they should be in hand here by week's end.  Even if they run a day late I should have them by first of the week and would try to get them mailed back out right away.  That should mean that the majority of folks would have them in hand by the end of next week.

Twolane, I suppose I could look up everyone's profile, but I am too lazy.  Do you think you could post a quick summary of who's getting cards?  It might be interesting to see the geographical spread.  I know others have done their own thing, but thought it still might tell us something about the coverage we're getting with these. [smiley=shocked2.gif] 2500 cards going to Cali?  I think those are all coastal cities, too? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  I hope those folks have some trips planned or local CVO owners there may end up accumulating quite a collection of cards. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Actually, Carmichael is a suburb of Sacramento and we're eighty miles from San Francisco.  But the other Ca. cities are in the bay area and down south.....coastal.  We got Calif. covered. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Striker, if I didn't say it before, let me say it now.........those cards are striking! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

O.K. that was my attempt at humor.......I'll quit now. [smiley=laugh.gif]
