... Heck, I even purchased my trailer from a member here.

Now I understand!  Just like former smokers are usually the most rabid anti-smokers, anti-trailer riders were likely former trailer owners!  Following this logic, JCZ sold the trailer to you!

20 votes in the poll so far with only a dozen or so commited to getting some cards.  That means there's at least 8 of you out there who've expressed an opinion on the cards what you but haven't told me yet who you are so you can buy some  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I'm one of them, I will buy some!

Wow! We definitely have like mines in this place. After joining this past weekend one of the things I did was create my own business cards to let people know about this site. Not as fancy as the ones here, but has all the important information ie: site address what it is about, my contact information, etc, etc. Great thing to pass out to people you meet and want to be able to contact you and advertise about this site. That's great FLH.  But you do need to be a bit careful there.  If you use the company's name or logo or any other copyrighted or trademarked intellectual property you have to have the standard disclaimer.  Otherwise you stand at least the possibility of getting someone's ass in a sling or of having some corporate attorney make this site go away.

Here's an FYI on finishing this up.  I'll leave the poll open until Thursday evening about 7:00 PM (depending on exactly when I get back that evening).  Striker, if you'd do us the favor of making one final edit based on whichever line of text wins out I'm sure everyone would really appreciate it.  I know I would.

If the final draft can then get posted sometime during the day on Friday I'll take the proof image to the print shop on Saturday morning.  Then hopefull will be able to post exact costs and delivery ETA by later in the weekend.

This means, however, that anyone that wants some must let me know by early Saturday morning.  Just to make sure I've not missed anyone's PM here is a list of those who have requested cards so far:

Mike from Texas
SAC
Shovel
Dude
Let's Roll
StickMan
MW8385
Striker
103
JCZ
the WeCvos
CoolBreeze (that ghillie headgear still freaks me out)
Naitram (his are on the house, his money is no good here)
Twolane

So if you're not listed here you're not playing yet.  Time to chime in and get added to the list or miss out on the opportunity to actively support the site and Naitram's efforts for us as they deserve to be supported.

What I have is a picture of my bike with contact information and "FLHRSEI.org The Home For CVO Harley Owners". Would you think that I would be safe? I've only printed ten so far, so now would be the time to make a change. Thanks  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

twolanerider, since this card is a full bleed, you need to find out from your printer how he wants it laid out. (Single card, 2 up, etc)  Also if he wants a single image, does he want it oversized by 1/8 th inch all the way around.  If he needs a certain resolution, let me know that too.  I can e-mail the file to you as well as post the final proof when we settle on a slogan.

Got your PM on this Striker and at least began to answer there.  Will be in touch after I see the guy Saturday.

FLH for practical purposes you're probably ok.  But you did have the H word in there.  And no company I know of is more notorious for occasionally waking up on the wrong side of the bed about their name than are lawyers that work for Harley.  So while I'd never really worry about handing out a few cards I made myself to a few bikes I see at a local rally; I'd also still put the disclaimer on them just to know that neither I nor the site I'm trying to promote stands even the remotest chance of getting hassled because I'm trying to do a good deed.

Just closed the poll so Striker can have final language for a last edit.  Thanks everyone for participating.  The option that was selected was:

A private owners group,
with an interest in the machine as well as the journey.
