Looking good Henry!

Can see the reflection of the backside of the pipe in a picture.

Take a deep breath, , , soon, , , soon it will be home!

 :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks much, my friend!  I'm pretty well stoked up about her.  The nekkid headers look awesome both inside and out, and seem like they're gonna flow much better than they would have without the Jet-Hot ceramic coating.  Definitely looks much better than all that blue, purple, and gold reflection in the chrome cam chest and side door covers.

Heck Chip............I'm hyperventilating.  Can't wait.  This is going to be the best Christmas I've ever had.  Her voice is awesome, and I love to hear her sing her song.

Rod has done this build several times before.  One he did two years ago was in the shop today to get the same TB as mine.  30K miles on it, and it looks and sounds great.  It has the stock flywheels.......as opposed to my S&S flywheels.........and the heads are 103 CVO heads that have about $3K of work in them.  It also has a Borzilla as opposed to my Fatcat.  It's numbers are in the 140s.  By the way..........it used to be a 2004 B&B, but the owner switched to vivid black skins.  Awesome machine.

I'm not expecting that.  I'll be happy with 120s.  The owner of the other bike drag races his machine.  Mine is for touring.  Anything above mid 120s is gravy.  We'll see how it goes, but first, she's gonna be properly broke in............Nice-N-Easy!

Thanks Howie.  I'm liking that starter.  Never thought it could look so good.

PLEASE, my friend, don't take any offense to what I'm about to say, because there is certainly no offense intended.  I never have cared for a chrome inner.  I think it is simply "too much."  "Tacky" if you will.  Just doesn't do it for me.  I like the contrast of the blonde inner against the chrome outer.  In my eyes, she's much prettier like that.  Further, in my eyes, the contrast of a chrome inner against blonde engine cases looks chitty.

That's why we have options.  We all gotta make these things so they suit us and our individual tastes.  I've done that with my green bike.  She's pretty, in my eyes, just like she is.  In my eyes, too much make-up is......well........"trashy."   :2vrolijk_21:

I'm breathin'.  Trust me.  Nothin' lasts forever...........and if you're Hoist, you can cut the normal lifecycle in half................although I think I beat that by at least another half this time...........and all we were doing was coming home from eating ice cream.  Cruddy luck, I guess, but I'm honored to be in such esteemed company.   :2vrolijk_21:

Heck Howie, we knew the green bike was breakin' when we were in the Catskills this Spring.   :coolblue:

Thanks for posting all of the pictures, Henry!  It is almost as fun looking at someone else's stuff as it is my own.  Looks like you've made some great choices with your part selection - and it looks great all bolted together!  Looking forward to hearing your ride report!

Thank you, Scott!  The majority of the choices I made were based on ideas gleaned from this forum from folks much smarter on this stuff than I'll ever be.  I told "The General" what I wanted, he studied up on my wants, made a few changes, ordered the parts, and went to work.  I Love it when a plan comes together.  Glad there's all this experience here upon which to draw.

BTW, thanks to you and Chip for planting the ceramic coating idea in my head.  THAT was money well spent, and I'm really glad I did it now.  It looks so good.  I can't wait to see how it performs.

I'm gettin' antsy.  I want to ride her...........BAD!   :cucumber:

Lookin' good Henry.  Nice Christmas present to yourself.  Hey, if you want to get rid of the clearance problem with the rear brake pedal install an EZ brake.  Got plenty of clearance and works so much better that stock imo.

Thanks Jerry.  It is sleeting south of here right now, so likely Rod will not get to ride today.  Alternate plan is to load the purple bike in the trailer tonight, take it to Rod tomorrow afternoon, and if the green bike is ready, trailer it home............which will SUCK...............but at least she'll be home.  Purple bike is getting carb work, new tires...........and I'm still undecided about the fender........which means it will likely stay the way it is for now.
Never heard of EZ brake.  Got a link?  We've taken care of the clearance challenge, but it does need some polishing, which means the lever will come off as soon as I get it home.
