I talked with the lady who is selling the bike to find out why there selling it. She said her husband has had many SE and bought this one for her, but it was a little two much bike for her. She said the bike is like off the showroom floor...perfect.

I also invited her husband and her to join the forum...since she hasnt heard of it. Might get a new member.

Im not bidding on this due to previous commintment to dealer...on a Melon.

Happy Bidding...and give the husband and wife a call they are super nice...number on Ebay.

No reason for anyone to pay over MSRP on any bike we just did a dealer poker run  of 19 dealers in Wi. and the were all selling at MSRP including all CVO's most had deals on free extras. Saw one '04 blue and black duece $2000 discount. One dealer was higher but they included warranty and some other crap.

Down here in the TX, OK area, dealers that sell CVO's at msrp have taken orders, or have a list of names to contact. I called about 25 dealers looking for a black/charcoal Ultra and they are hard to find, unless you have a lot of patience to wait.  I just started calling about two weeks ago, should of started earlier. I did buy one at 1K over, but I'm first on their list and it's pretty close ( 50 mi ) to home.  First call I made, they had a green one for msrp in stock, but I passed.

What's the big ugly red thing on the right fork?  And watermelon or salad shooter; still thinking that one is going to take a bit of getting used to  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  (unless of course you love it to begin with!).

I saw a watermelon in person up in Auburn, I was told the owner was riding it until he sells it.
He has added some extras including a 6-speed transmission and I'm sure a higher price tag to go with it.

Personally I thought it was a good looking bike, definitely better looking in person than any picture I've seen.
Of course what do I know ??  I love my Jalepeno !!!   [smiley=jalapeno.gif]
Green is good !!!

Well,I've gotta tell ya,I have a 2005 in the Dark Teal/Candy Teal. Everyone said "Don't buy that ugly green bike" and everywhere I go I get nothing but compliments and looks.
Sounds crazy but I've had it a year in July and looks better to me now than when new.  Only have run into another one and that was at Rolling Thunder in May. As everyone on this website knows, most novices think it's a custom bike built by yourself. I laugh every time I hear "Man,what a great looking bike, who did the paint work for you"?
Anyway, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and  whatever turns you on!
However, after saying all that,I'll stick with my '05.
